Water is one of the basic necessities to survive. We ought to save water and not waste it.
Nature provides us with lots of water in the form of rain and snow. Here in India, there is a movement known as 'RAIN HARVESTING'. People built tanks in the backyard of their houses, and when it rains the water gets collected in these tanks. This way we store and save a lot of water. I had stayed in Kashmir for sometime. And there we used to collect snow. This water is later used as per requirement.
We also have a festival called 'VANMAHOTSAV' in the month of July. It means 'Forest Festival'. People plant as many saplings as possible on this day and spread awareness for the requirement of forests.
Both Rain harvesting and Vanmahotsav have been in practise for about 3 decades in our country.
We have to always remember one thing. Adjust to the ways of nature, never ever try to make nature adjust to your ways. IT WONT WORK THAT WAY.
Live life in a healthy and safe way.
