I think the We campaign is great. There seems to be two components to it: an on-line petition/mailing list and this on-line community.
It's also clear the 1.6 million members of the campaign are part of the petition component and not the on-line community.
I think the on-line community could be larger if the site did a better job of directing new petition signers to the community. When I signed the petition, I thought I had joined the community. When I realized I hadn't, I had to hunt around for the way to join the community.
