No I'm not a NIMBY I'm saying that not in anyone's neighborhood. Clean Coal is a stupid concept. I live 3 blocks from the trains that come and go 57 times a day. My electornic devices attract the dust which is black, spider cobwebs look like black lace. Sometimes I end up with a fine black powder in my water that makes it a gray color. Clean coal is dirty at least most of the time. The coal and oil industry is just trying to make coal more palitable to people. That is easy to do when you don't live by it. Then add insult to injury by sequestering CO2 in a seismically active area. Wyoming is so open and beautiful. You see hawks, deer, elk, racoons, eagles etc. You sometimes come up over a hill to a view that litterally takes you breath away. Endless prairie and rolling hills. More openess than you can see anywhere. Mountains where you can go and not see another soul (human that is) for days on end. But this is not going to be if we keep the culture of clean coal alive. Our beautiful mountains and hills are being torn down by the millions of tons a day. We often say as we see another train, "there goes Wyoming leaving Wyoming." Now they want to bring back the waste they make from taking our state apart. They are going to sequester the CO2 here, thus allowing the cycle to continue until Wyomiong is a flat ugly, animal free zone with with the danger of a seizmic burp that will release tons of CO2 into the air and finish the climate off. Write the President Elect, write your congress and senators and tell them no to CO2 sequestering.
